Information We Collect

We collect the information needed to provide the app, sync your displays, protect your account, and respond to support requests.

• Account information from Sign in with Apple, such as your Apple user identifier and, when Apple provides it, your name and email address.
• Photos and related image data that you choose to upload to NostalPic.
• Display information, such as device identifiers, friendly display names, platform type, slideshow settings, and ordered photo queues.
• Authentication and session information used to keep you signed in and connect each Apple TV to your account.
• Operational information such as request logs, error information, and basic security events used to keep the service reliable.
• Support information you send us directly, such as your email address and the contents of your message.

How We Use Information

• To let you sign in and access your NostalPic account.
• To upload, store, display, and organize the photos you choose.
• To register Apple TV displays and keep each display's slideshow queue in sync.
• To provide customer support and troubleshoot problems.
• To secure the service, prevent abuse, and maintain reliability.
• To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

What We Do Not Do

• We do not sell your personal information.
• We do not use your photos for advertising.
• We do not make your photo library public.
• We do not build social profiles, public feeds, or follower graphs.
• We do not track you across other companies' apps or websites for advertising.

Sharing Information

We share information only when needed to operate NostalPic, comply with the law, protect rights and safety, or complete a business transfer such as a merger or acquisition. Service providers may help us host infrastructure, store data, process logs, or provide support. They are allowed to use information only to provide services to us.

Your Photos

You choose which photos to upload. Your photos are used to provide the NostalPic library and Apple TV slideshow features. Deleting a display unpairs that Apple TV but preserves the frame and its queue, so you can pair another display later. It does not delete your photo library. Deleting a photo removes it from your library and from frame queues that reference it.

Data Retention

We keep account, display, and photo information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. We may retain limited records for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, backups, and dispute resolution.

Your Choices

You can manage photos and displays and delete your account directly in the app. You can also request data deletion or privacy help through our Privacy Choices page or by contacting hello@nostalpic.app.

Children

NostalPic is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes To This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users, such as by updating this page or providing notice in the app.
